|Denver, Colorado – For any who know the long and storied history of the international rock combo MF Ruckus, change is the only constant and surprise is the only predictable. The band has finally officially announced their separation from long-time guitarist Parker Clark Meehan citing irreconcilable personal differences. Parker has been with the band since joining in 2012 following the departure of Tay Hamilton (Hot Apostles/Love Stallion) and Jerry Cass (White Fudge). Meehan toured with the band in support of The Dirty Half Dozen album as well as appearing in the DVD mini-doc by the same name. He went on to co-write the Thieves of Thunder album, contributing the musical composition for “Talk All Day (Don’t Say Shit)”, “Tastes Like Bleach” and title track “Thieves of Thunder” among others. He also wrote the music for several new tracks including the 2017 single “It’s a Mess”, which served as the soundtrack for chapter 1 in the band’s concept album and motion comic series, The Front Lines of Good Times. He also played guitar on the Kid Rock/Donald Trump parody “The Trump Boogie” which appeared on Funny or Die in 2016.|
Parker continued to tour, write and record with the band until earlier this year when he unceremoniously terminated his collaborative partnership with the band, on the precipice of releasing the bands 3rd album, The Front Lines of Good Times Vol. I. Per an agreement reached between Meehan and the band, 3 new compositions written by Meehan and recorded for the new record will be pulled from the project to be used or not for his own purposes and at his discretion.
The band does not wish to comment as to the particular details of the split, but founder and frontman Aaron Howell offered this statement on behalf of himself and bandmates Tony Lee, Ty Blosser and Logan O’Connor: “We are thoroughly grateful for Parker’s marked and significant contribution to the band over the years. During his tenure in the band he contributed several brilliant works, a slew of great shirt designs, countless riveting and professional performances as well as a lifetime of laughs and memories on the road and in the studio. The band and fans alike will miss his signature onstage intensity as well as his inventive and unique style of writing and playing. Parker truly represents a prominent era in our long musical history. We wish him success and joy in his future endeavors.”
As this news has made it’s way through various rumor mills and sewing circles of the deep musical underground, one question keeps popping up: who will take Parker’s post opposite MF Ruckus’s not-so-secret weapon, Tony Lee Wilburn aka “The Windy City Madman”? The answer: Nobody. And that’s just fine.
MF Ruckus is excited to take things in a new direction with this pared down lineup. This dramatic lineup change might be a major disruption were it not for the fact that Tony Lee possesses the strength and ability of 10 guitar players anyway. Undoubtedly, fans will miss the Thin Lizzy/Iron Maiden inspired twin guitar leads and the yin and yan on stage dynamic between Tony and Parker, but these fans can also rest assured that MF Ruckus will continue to write, tour and put on the raucous, high energy performance so often attributed to their name.
Fans can also expect to see a more expanded and varied writing approach with all four members contributing ideas, no holds barred. Additionally, the band will be “opening the vault”, re-animating classic material from the band’s early years. This will be the first time MF Ruckus have functioned as a four-piece, one guitar lineup since the late Jordan Wieleba left the band while still in it’s pupal stage under the name Forth Yeer Freshman. The members of MF Ruckus patiently roll up their sleeves and rub their hands in anticipation for the pending release of The Front Lines of Good Times Vol. I, new comics by Jake Fairly and motion comics by Macy Lytle as well as a plan to record 20 brand new songs, new episodes of their web series MF Monday and 50 new episodes of The MF Podcast in 2019, and as always, lots of shows. To summarize, MF Ruckus ain’t even close to finished, in fact, they’re just getting started.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Denver, Colorado -The self-proclaimed “Ultimate Dad Band!” The Swifts have dropped their latest release All Sunshine to an eagerly awaiting fan base. All Sunshine is the ten song culmination of four lifetimes worth of exceptional and varied music experience uniting together to create the pop-punk opus of their musical careers. The Swifts have put every ounce of energy, pain and joy they could muster into the creation of All Sunshine even enlisting the world renowned guitarist Ahrue Luster of Ill Niño and Machine Head fame to record and produce All Sunshine.
“It was a great pleasure to produce The Swift’s All Sunshine”, Ahrue Luster declared. “I grew up a Thrash Metaler who hung out with Punks, so doing this album brought me back to my roots. This is the second album Swifts album that I’ve produced. All Sunshine shows their musical growth and evolution. The vocals on this album are some of the best vocals I have ever produced. Mike Little’s performances were on point, the melodies are super catchy, and we came up with so many great layers of harmonies to compliment them. I love the balance of the big beautiful, melodic choruses with the raw guitar stylings of Rob Hinerman. They complement each other in a Yin Yang type of way. The whole album came out amazing and I’m very proud of what we did!”
Once you hear All Sunshine you will agree that it is one of the best pop-punk albums of the current generation. Ground breaking but yet still familiar with hook filled guitar riffs, intelligent lyrics delivered with powerful and catchy melodies and a rocking rhythm and low end section that bangs it home.
Swifts vocalist Mike Little on All Sunshine and working with Ahrue Luster, “Ahrue is an incredible musician and a seasoned veteran of the music industry. He brings so much experience and depth into making a record. It was an amazing experience working with him as he brought our music to life.”

|Mister Sam Shearon (Creator for Clive Barker, Rob Zombie) “SHOVEL offers a disturbing tone that echoes the cultural phenomenon of the horrors that inspired such films as ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, ‘Wrong Turn’ and ‘The Hills have Eyes’. This short film holds nothing back as the surreal soundtrack akin to an industrial nightmare drives the vibe quickly into a merciless plot twist.‘SHOVEL’ has the potential to be a full feature cult classic!”|
January 11th 2019:
For Immediate Release: Barnum, Colorado – The deranged film makers at Bloodshed Deathbath Productions have released their latest horror opus entitled Shovel. While only 7 minutes long it was a year in the making with over a dozen very intense and physically demanding shoot days which involved capturing some gripping cinematography, stellar drone work and highly detailed creature makeup and practical effects. The stunning finale of Shovel has left viewers shocked and craving for more.
The unsettling soundtrack of Shovel was performed by the horror industrial group Genessier who ratchet the terror up like a taught garrote around your neck. Using their own deepest fears the band conjured up a soundtrack for Shovel that will leave you freaked out long after the credits roll.
Shovel director Ryan Policky, “This was one of our few times of recent that we have skipped the comedy and gone for the fear, and I personally feel we hit that visual mark. Shovel is kinda like a music video mixed with traditional narrative and I love the way it came to be. For sure one of my favorite shorts I’ve had the pleasure of working on. “
Shovel stars Aeona Cruz of Terror Tales, Amateur and Unmarked fame. The young actress excelled on set and remained unfazed and professional no matter how surreal or bloody the scenes became. Doug Newville (Dinner with Leatherface, Auto Shop of Horrors) played the beast himself and thrived within the role and became the demonic brute that is Shovel. Shovel also stars Benton Mckibben (vocalist for MIRE), Isaac Archuleta (bassist for Dead for Denver), Rodney Tidwell, Amanda Eldritch and Sara Eldritch
Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination/Dead Awake) “A fun and twisted little gem, Shovel will haunt you long after the final credits roll.”
John Dugan (Grandpa from Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D) “Chainsaw fans will eat ‘Shovel’ up. Stay tuned..”
Jonathan Tiersten (Sleepaway Camp/The House That Wept Blood) “The visual imagery and esoteric nuances in ‘Shovel’ staggered me in a way I did not expect. This film begs to be continued.”
Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th/Terror Tales) “This is a terrifying short film – absolutely mesmerizing photography and soundtrack – abstract and darkly impressionistic in a contemporary vein. Characters that just steal a Jason’s heart! Thank You SHOVEL!” Ari Lehman the First Jason Voorhees
Brian Bonsall (Star Trek: The Next Generation/Mikey) “Genuinely well done, sick and twisted, not for the faint hearted and keeps you wanting more!”
Shovel has been released for free on Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KWDFWD7/
Shovel is dedicated to the memories of Sara and Amanda Eldritch who tragically took their own lives in a suicide pact.

Hail Satan Drop New EP “Rad Metal” and Dine on White Supremacists in New Music Video “I Will Eat You”
Party thrashers Hail Satan have dropped the festive and hooky EP Rad Metal and their first music video “I Will Eat You” about eating Nazi’s and all white supremacists in general. Hail Satan’s guitarist Bruce Gasiorowski is a professional chef so you know the food prep is spot on.
Rad Metal contains five wicked whiskey fueled party thrash songs (“Born to Win”, “Left Hand Path”, “I Will Eat You”, “Irrevocable” and “Burn the Blood”) ranging from hilarious to all out punch to the face metal mastery. Rad Metal starts off with the hook-fest-party anthem “Born to Win”: “I’m doing drugs, I’m getting laid, I’m eating pizza every day” and the EP just gets crazier from there.
Hail Satan have also launched their music video for the single “I Will Eat You” which mixes white supremacists, cannibalism and fine dining all in one shocking, timely and hilarious manner. The video starts in the majestic mountains of Colorado which is the home of Hail Satan and then goes on to eviscerate Nazi’s both figuratively and literally. (And the Tiki torch scene is hilarious.)

Denver’s DIY Irish folk-punks Bourbon Brawlers just dropped their new 10 song album Befriend Your Sins and a music video for the single “Irish Yoga”. The 7 piece outfit is the Colorado flag bearer for working class folk-punk angst and heart with songs about drinking, revolution, friends no longer with us and more drinking. The album is loose, festive, and full of great punk jams with an overall theme of having fun while you can. Befriend Your Sins has 8 songs streaming online with a bonus 2 tracks (“Whiskey Souls” and “Kevin and Bob.”) only available on the physical copy of the album.
As a testament to brotherhood bond of the Bourbon Brawlers and the importance their music is to them Damien the drummer suffered through a horrific event just days prior to the album release party for Befriend Your Sins and survived by sheer will and the love of family, friends and band mates. While taking a smoke break at work Damien was randomly and viciously stabbed 5 times by a raging psychopath. 8 days later he skipped out of the hospital to play the album release party. Then he returned to the hospital to finish healing up because he still had a blood clot in his lung. That is about as die hard punk rock as you can get.

Damien – drums
Snoopy – stand-up bass
Rusty – washboard and vocals

Here come the yanks! A New Way to Live Forever hail from Florida in the States. ANWTLF are a brill attempt at bringing some honest rock back into the roll again. This is not a dodgey band so give them a chance at your noise holes.
We’ve heard some interesting rumors about Russ’s family history involving some very notable historical figures and events. Can you give us more details about his ancestors?
On my mom’s side, there was Sir Gideon Isom (1650 – 1701) of British nationality. He was Born in Shropshire, England, and was a member of the British House of Lords. King William III bestowed knighthood upon him for his loyalty to the crown. His son, John Sr., migrated to America after Sir Gideon had forbidden his marriage to a commoner, Martha Huff. That migration started the lineage of Isom in America.
On my father’s side was Coonrad Mooter (1780 – 1864) of German nationality. As a loyal member of Napoleon Bonaparte’s elite bodyguards, the Eagles, he fought at Napoleon’s side in the Battle of Waterloo. My lineage changed from Mooter to Smith in the next generation’s marriage of his daughter Barbara Mooter to Daniel Smith and their daughter, my great grandmother, Lovie Smith.
Russ’s father play an important role in the band. Can you tell us more about Russ Sr.’s involvement in ANWTLF?
In addition to being half of the biological DNA source material for me, he has been a staunch supporter of the band by way of attending local live performances and photographing the band, etc. I have my own son, and Russ Sr. stands as my example of what a father should be. I keep this at the forefront of my mind when balancing the demands of the band with what my son deserves from a father.
Florida has made international news because of the high incidence of facial cannibalism that has occurred in recent years. What does the band do to protect itself from face-eaters?
Do you have any facial-preservation advice to give to your European fans who may be interested in seeing ANWTLF perform in Florida?
Obviously, everyone is responsible for their own face, but it would be best to invest in some kind of Halo-type head gear if you really want to survive a Florida show unscathed.
We’d like to give you guys a chance to defend your home state in the wake of the Zombie apocalypse. What are some of the best things about Florida?
Most would say the beach and sunshine. I prefer to shine the spotlight on the unbelievably robust air conditioner industry which allows me to function and thrive in such an overwhelmingly sunny, positive and humid climate.
Can you share some surprising facts or trivia about The Sunshine State?
Apparently, we have a lot of alligators here. I don’t go outside, so that’s just rumor as far as I’m concerned. Also, it seems like many idiots have gotten iguanas as pets and then become sick of them, so that after they are “set free,” their entire families (the iguana families) enjoy golf course living throughout southern Florida. Consider me not a fan of that.
The band is close to wrapping up the Fall or Follow shows within Florida. What has been the best part of the mini-tour so far?
Aside from sweating in the fall, the reaction from new fans has been the best…and explosive. Also seeing people singing the songs along with us is priceless.
Can you share some interesting stories from any of the shows?
After the show at Kill Your Idol in Miami, I went out to the alley and threw up seven times. An awesome soul named Joanna noticed this and came out to take care of me. THANK YOU Jo Jo.
The writing process was similar to Rumoura in that I had all the songs done and ready to record, BUT the big difference was our producer, Peter Klett from Candlebox. We opened for Candlebox in Fort Lauderdale the year prior and started a relationship with Peter where he expressed interest in working with us. His involvement and experience brought a next-level mindset to our recordings and his friendship throughout the process was invaluable.
What did you learn while you were making your first two albums that you were able to apply to the making of Monument?
We have learned to work to our strengths, and further craft the rock hook.
Do you think you’ll do anything differently for your next album?
We will always continue to serve the song. I don’t think things will change, only become more intense and focused.
How would you describe the evolution of ANWTLF’s sound over the past eight years?
Like many bands, we were initially feeling things out and just playing for playing’s sake. I think the sound has evolved distinctly in a way that channels the soul of the band. We are each other, and we “get it.”
ANWTLF has been dropping albums for three consecutive U.S. presidential election years. Are you planning to wait until 2020 for your next album release, or can your fans expect something before the next Winter Olympics?
I don’t think anyone in our band even noticed this correlation – it is, of course, completely unintentional. But perhaps we subconsciously offer a positive reinforcement to life during these strenuous election times. That being – no, we’re not going to wait until 2020. We have a full album already written and we’re ready to record. We think you’ll hear some new music in 2017- plenty of time to sharpen your ice skates for South Korea.
What is each band member’s worst skill – something you’re so terrible at that none of your friends or family would ever ask you to do for them, even if it were a life or death situation?
Russ: I love this question. My worst skill is answering questions 🙂 HOWEVER, in a life or death scenario, I admit that I can’t jump very high…so don’t ask me to save your life by jumping.
Steve Rose: Handling firearms. I don’t think anyone will ever ask me to clean their guns!
Daniel: As much as I love cool cars, I am not very mechanically inclined. So don’t call when your vehicle breaks down. I’ll just recommend you call AAA.
Remaining Members: Are too embarrassed to respond
Many, if not all, of the band members have families. How do you balance your music careers with raising families and making sure the dogs get walked?
It can be tough at times. Many nights we’re not around and our families have to pick up our slack. But it’s our family’s belief in us that makes it okay and keeps us going; the belief that we’re in something perhaps bigger than ourselves, and that our message needs to be out in the world. And that alone is worth the sacrifice. As far as the dogs go, we are pretty sure they are walking us since we are carrying around their poop and such.
Does ANWTLF have many opportunities to interact with fans?
We are generally most approachable while being drenched in sweat after shows.
What has been the most rewarding experience a fan has shared with you?
I think most of our interaction with fans best comes from the interchange of the music itself. We recently had a fan in Los Angeles tell us after a show at The Whisky a Go Go that he was member of a funeral escort ride for a fallen Marine aviator, when lyrics from our most recent single, Fall or Follow, came to mind: We all belong to everything/And everything belongs to us. He went on to tell us how he relayed these lyrics to the family, and what their sacrifice meant to him, and everyone. I can’t think of anything more rewarding than that.
What’s the most bizarre or awkward interaction you’ve had with a fan?
Russ: After a show last year an attendee/fan followed me backstage and spoke about how he could tell I had internal struggles with depression. While true, I’m not sure how he could infer that from a performance in a Florida rock bar. It became a little more strange when he started comparing me to Jesus and that I was a beautiful soul.
One of the hardest things for an artist is finalizing a work. Nothing can ever be perfect, and many artists tend to be overly self-critical of what they produce. How do you determine when a song is finished?
Honestly, a song is never finished. It is only stamped in time during its evolution.
Have you ever regretted not doing something differently after a song has been released?
Not really, because there’s always the live interpretation, which is ever-moving.
Do you ever use live shows as a way to experiment with what you could have done with a song?
Almost always. I prefer to look at a song as clay. We can get it close to a finished product when it’s recorded, but there’s always room for improvement and fun. You’ll probably never hear the exact same version of any song live.
If each band member were a fruit, which fruit would you be?
Steven Rose: Apple. It’s the main, straight-up, best, in-your-face, great-tasting fruit.
Daniel: Orange. Because nothing rhymes with it
What about the band as a whole?
The whole band would be a pineapple, mainly because Spongebob Squarepants is so awesome. And everyone likes to play in Bikini Bottom.
What is in store for ANWTLF fans in 2017? Can we expect to see you tour in Europe any time soon?
In 2017, we plan to release new music and perform as much as possible. And yes, we’d love do some European shows, maybe in the summer. We’ll see what the coming months hold.
Is there anything you’d like to tell your European fans?
Thank you for your support, WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!!!!
